AhlulBayt News Agency: A senior Iranian cleric has warned against hostile efforts aimed at disrupting unifying Islamic occasions and sowing discord within the Muslim world.
Mamusta Amin Rasti, the Friday prayer leader of Sanandaj in Iran’s Kurdistan province, emphasized the importance of Islamic unity, particularly during the sacred month of Dhu al-Hijjah. He described this period as a unique opportunity to strengthen solidarity across the Islamic world.
He cautioned against adversaries who seek to undermine the unifying objectives behind significant Islamic events.
“It is Islamic solidarity that can protect people of faith from dangers and enable Muslims to resolve their own issues,” he stated.
Mamusta Rasti likened the Islamic nation to a tree that continuously grows into a strong body, with the Hajj pilgrimage serving as one of its vital branches.
He urged Muslims to minimize their internal conflicts during the grand Hajj congregation. He warned that global arrogant powers, particularly Zionist forces, are persistently working to divide and rule Muslims, following a long-standing strategy once employed by Britain.
The Sunni prayer leader of Sanandaj called on Muslims to strengthen their unity during Hajj and remain committed to the fundamental objectives of Islam.
